FABRIC CONTENT & SUSTAINABILITY

Black Coral is an ethical and environmentally conscious brand. We use sustainable fabric produced from post-consumer plastic waste to minimise our footprint on the planet. 

Made from 73% reclaimed, discarded single-use plastic bottles and 27% elastane, our fabric provides durability and firm compression which allows for a supportive and flattering fit.   

Our high-performance Recycled-Polyester/Elastane blended fabric has a silky smooth texture, with sun-smart UPF50+ coverage offering protection against the harmful effects of sun exposure, such as skin cancer, ageing, pigmentation and rosacea.

SWIM & ACTIVE APPAREL CARE

Hand wash or gentle/delicate machine wash in cold or up to 30ºc water. Squeeze excess water and hang to dry in the shade. Avoid spin dry. Do not dry clean, iron or tumble dry. Do not use chlorine based bleach harsh detergents and avoid placing on abrasive surfaces.

SWIM WEAR EXTRA CARE

A great routine to get into is taking your swim wear into the shower with you to rinse out any chlorine or sand in cold water. Then hand wash with a gentle soap and flat dry to maintain your swimsuit shape. 

Alternate your swimsuit styles to extend the life of each piece and allow each piece a break between beach and pool use. Chlorine can dull fabric colour and weaken the elastane so ensure to clean immediately after use.

For suncream and other stains, apply baking soda and let it sit for an hour before washing your swim wear in cold water.
